SSVP HK Refugee Services Group -- The KITCHEN FOR FRIENDS project (11 May 2024)

WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO??
• Invite one family to prepare their cuisine in their home country for 10 – 15 of our members
and/or our guests to share and enjoy;
• We would also prepare simple local delicacies like dumplings or similar dishes for all to share
and enjoy.;
• Through eaCng, drinking, sharing of food and of course cuisine exchanges, we get to know
more about culture and customs of the refugees;
• Through preparaCon of their own food and cuisine, they likely regain their pride and also
their confidence;
• An important step in “accompanying them in the journey”
